Aaron Harang Pitches Four Strong and a Farm Report

The Reds took care of business yesterday as they trounced the Astros 8-2. Aaron Harang set the stage for the Reds with four strong shutout innings to start things off. He gave up three hits, no walks and he struck out four. Just as important, Homer Bailey threw two shutout frames and he struck out three. It’d be nice to see the kid come around.

Laynce Nix was one of the hitting stars. He went one for two with a home run, two RBIs and two runs. Darnell McDonald also had a nice game and he went two for two with a run.

If you want a solid run down on the Reds farm system, MiLB.com has finished their review of the Reds system.
