It was a love hate relationship.  You brought us Brandon Phillips and Bronson Arroyo and I definitely love you for that.  On the other hand, there was The Trade.  Yeah, that one.  Does the name Gary Majewski and Bill Bray ring a bell?  What about Austin Kearns and Felipe Lopez?  Anyway, Walk Jocketty is your new GM and like the Reds current manager, he comes with his pedigree.  The timing is questionable, but it is what it is.  If Jocketty signs Adam Dunn to a nice fat extension, then I’ll be happy.  If he lets him go, then he’s definitely under suspicion.

The Reds lost so the Walt era is off to a poor start.  Johnny Cueto throws tomorrow in an afternoon game.  I like our chances because I don’t recognize the name of the pitcher the Astros will be throwing out there.
