Josh Fogg Throws Five Shutout Frames In Reds Win

The Reds finished 1-0-1 today.  They tied the Yankees, but Josh Fogg threw five shutout innings in a Reds 5-0 win over the Pirates.  He gave up just a trio of hits with a walk and three strikeouts.  Brad Salmon struck out the side in an impressive seventh inning.

Jay Bruce picked up two more hits and he started the game in right field.  Ryan Freel singled twice and scored a run while all thirteen of the Reds hits were singles.

Homer Bailey gets the start tomorrow against the Red Sox.  Jon Lester gets the call for the Red Sox.
