Adam Dunn Rules

Two down, about fifty more to go. Adam Dunn and Aaron Harang carried the Reds today in their 5-1 opening day win over the new and not quite so improved Cubbies. Dunn homered in his first two at bats and gave the Reds a quick 3-0 lead that Aaron Harang rode to a nice win.

Speaking of Harang, he gave up an unearned run on six hits and two walks with five strikeouts in seven rock solid innings. Kirk Saarloos and David Weathers then threw a scoreless frame a piece to wrap up the game.

The Reds get the day off tomorrow and then Bronson Arroyo goes for the Reds against Ted Lilly. Maybe, just maybe, the Reds won’t be as bad as people think.
