Bullpen Struggles in Reds Loss to Phillies

Rheal Cormier and Dustin Hermanson were touched up for four late runs as the Reds lost to Phillies 6-2.  Cormier was particularly knocked around as he gave up three runs on three hits and a walk.  In the meantime, Kyle Lohse was decent in his start.  He gave up two runs on five hits and a walk with four strikeouts in 4 1/3.

Edwin Encarnacin was the offense for the Reds.  His two run shot in the second inning accounted for both Reds runs.  He was also the only Red with more then one hit.

This is the part of the year where the spring games start losing their appeal.  The players are going through the motions, hoping nobody gets hurt and the REAL season is less then a week away.  And speaking of opening day, Aaron Harang will get the start.  No surprise there.
