Reds Held to a Single Run in Loss to Dodgers

Dodgers 2, Reds 1  (99-57)

The Reds fell a single run short as they failed to win their 100th game of the season.  Ken Griffey had three hits and Don Werner went two for two with a walk and the only Reds’ RBI of the game.

Pat Zachry took the loss despite having a solid start.  He gave up two runs on five hits and four walks with three strikeouts in six innings.
