Tony Perez Leads Offense in Win Over Dodgers

September 15, 1976 at Riverfront Stadium 

Reds 4, Dodgers 3  (94-53)

Tony Perez drove in two runs with two doubles and a single as the Reds edged the Dodgers.  Pete Rose had four hits and a run while Ken Griffey went two for five with a run and an RBI.

Pat Zachry improved to 13-5 on the season.  He gave up three runs on ten hits with one walk and five strikeouts.  Rawly Eastwick threw the final 1 1/3 and didn’t yield a single baserunner en route to his 23rd save of the season.
