Joe Morgan Steals 500th Career Base in Loss to Dodgers

Dodgers 9, Reds 0  (93-53)

The day off didn’t the Reds much good as they were blasted by the Dodgers.  The Reds got 10 hits and a walk, but stranded 12 runners as they were held scoreless.

Gary Nolan dropped to 12-9.  He gave up seven runs on twelve hits in seven innings of work.  Ken Griffey had three hits and he stole his 30th base of the season.  Joe Morgan stole number 55 and it was the 500th of his career.
