Reds Edge Braves, End Four Game Skid

August 18, 1976 at Riverfront Stadium 

Reds 4, Braves 1  (77-44)

The Reds snapped their four game skid behind a strong outing by Jack Billingham.  Billingham continued a great August by holding the Braves to one run on five hits and two walks.  His record improved to 11-8.

Pete Rose had two hits, a stolen base and two runs.  Joe Morgan stoled two bases to bring his league leading total up to 40 and Johnny Bench was two for two with a run and an RBI.
