Reds Lose Third Straight Game, Fred Norman Strikes Out Ten

August 16, 1976 at Riverfront Stadium 

Braves 4, Reds 3  (76-43)

The Reds dropped their third straight game as they finally returned home to Cincinnati for a series.  Fred Norman dropped to 11-3 on the season.  He gave up four runs (two earned) on five hits and five walks.  He struck out a then season high 10 batters.

For the second straight game, the Reds managed only five hits.  Ken Griffey and Joe Morgan drove in runs and George Foster had two hits.
