Jerry Koosman Holds Reds to Five Hits in Shutout Loss

August 15, 1976 at Shea Stadium

Mets 1, Reds 0  (76-42)

Mets’ starter Jerry Koosman held the Reds to only five hits in their second straight loss.  George Foster and Doug Flynn had two singles and Eddie Armbrister doubled.  The Reds didn’t draw a single walk and struck out 11 times.
