Jack Billingham Shuts Out Giants, Reds Win Seventh Straight

Reds 9, Giants 0  (69-38)

Jack Billingham had his best start of the season and the Reds’ bats were hot in an easy win for the Reds.  It was their seventh straight victory.  Jack Billingham threw a three hit shutout and struck out three batters.

Ken Griffey had a big game.  He went three for five with a triple, two runs and two RBIs.  Joe Morgan was three for five with a triple, a run and an RBI and Dave Concepcion had three hits and three RBIs.
