Reds Deal for Two Relievers

Way to make an impact.  Wayne Krivsky has been on the prowl for relief pitching.  Maybe someone should tell him to stay out of the dumpsters.  One deal got us Kyle Lohse, who was so good he got demoted by the Twins not that long ago.  In exchange, the Reds gave up Zach Ward.  We also traded for Phillies reliever Rheal Cormier who’s actually thrown okay despite having a 13/13 strikeout to walk ratio in 34 innings.  We shipped Justin Germano away in that deal.

So Wayne’s revamped the bullpen.  Whooptie Freakin Da.  You think I’d be more excited about the Reds being in contention but it’s hard to do with deals like this.
