Jack Billingham is Shelled in Loss to Giants

July 27, 1976 at Riverfront Stadium 

Giants 9, Reds 4  (62-27)

The Giants ended the Reds’ three game winning streak as they ran up the score on Jack Billingham.  Billingham was tagged for six runs in the fifth inning and he dropped to 7-8 on the season.

Pete Rose had two hits and a run while Joe Morgan had two hits, a run, an RBI and two stolen bases.  Tony Perez drove in two runs.
