George Foster an Dan Driessen Hit Reds to Win Over Giants

July 26, 1976 at Riverfront Stadium 

Reds 9, Giants 3  (62-26)

The Reds won their third straight game by blowing out the Giants.  George Foster went four for five with two runs and an RBI and Dan Driessen went four for five with three RBIs.  Ken Griffey had two hits and three runs and Pete Rose led of the first with a homerun for the second straight time.

Fred Norman went the distance and improved to 9-2 on the season.  All three runs that he gave up in the ninth were unearned and he gave up seven hits and three walks with six strikeouts.
