Jack Billingham Hit Hard, Reds Seven Game Winning Streak Ends

July 10, 1976 at Riverfront Stadium
Pirates 7, Reds 1 (53-22)

The Reds seven game winning streak came to an end as their bats went cold. The only run the Reds could manage against John Candelaria was a solo homerun by Bob Bailey in the eighth inning.

Jack Billingham couldn’t even make it through the second inning as he dropped to 6-7 on the season. He gave up five runs on four hits and two walks.
