May 22, 1976 at San Diego Stadium

The Red ended their two game skid by edging the Padres by a single run.  The Reds scored all three of their runs in the third inning and Pat Zachry was phenomonal in his complete game win.  He improved to 3-0 and gave up two runs on nine hits with six strikeouts.
