Giants Score Fourteen in Reds Loss

April 16, 1976 at Riverfront Stadium

Giants 14, Reds 7, (4-2)

The Reds pitching continued to struggle as the Giants pummelled Pat Darcy and the bullpen to the tune of fourteen runs in the Reds first home loss.  Darcy dropped to 1-1 and both Will McEnaney and Rawly Eastwick, normally reliable relievers, combined to give up six runs in 1 1/3 innings.

Pete Rose had two hits and three runs and Ken Griffey went three for five with two doubles, a triple, three RBIs and two runs.  Joe Morgan went two for four with two RBIs and Tony Perez also had two hits.
