Reds Get Shelled in First Loss of the Season

April 15, 1976 at Fulton County Stadium 

Braves 10, Reds 5  (4-1)

Jack Billingham was chased off the mound in the third as the Reds were handed their first loss of the season.  Billingham dropped to 1-1 on the season and gave up six runs on eight hits and two walks in two innings of work.  Reliever Pat Zachry, Pedro Borbon and Will McEnaney were all also tagged for runs.

Pete Rose scored twice and Joe Morgan went two for three for two stolen bases and a run.  George Foster had three hits and a run in the loss.
