Strong Outing By Gullett Puts Reds Back in Win Column

June 11, 1975 Reds 3, Cardinals 1 (35-24)

Starter Don Gullett had a six hit shutout through eight innings before he gave up a solo homer to catcher Ted Simmons in the top of the ninth inning. He walked only one batter, and he struck out eight.

Ken Griffey had a solid as he went three for four. He had three singles, a stolen base, and he scored a run. Pete Rose had two singles, an RBI and he scored as well.
