Don Gullett Outpitches Bob Gibson with Four Hitter

Don Gullett improved to 6-3 with a four hitter over the Cards. He walked two and struck out five to earn the shutout.

Joe Morgan, Ken Griffey, and George Foster all homered, as the Reds racked up thirteen hits and six walks. Ken Griffey fell a triple short of hitting for the cycle.
