Red Shutout, Dominated By Tom Underwood

May 13, 1975 Philies 4, Reds 0 (18-15)

It was the second time in five games the Reds had been shutout. Johnny Bench’s double was the only extra base hit as Tom Underwood shut down the Reds. He gave up only six hits and he struck out nine.

Leftfielder Merv Rettenmund went two for four and had the only multi-hit game.
