First Red’s Spring Game Today

I don’t know if you can call this the official start of baseball season, but the games have begun. The Reds square off against the Devil Rays today. Very, very, cool.

Bad news though. Ken Griffey, Jr. didn’t play in the intrasquad game earlier this week because of his hamstring. Having him back by opening day might be a stretch, but we need him back. Yeah, I know we have the Wily one, but the dreams of having Griffey back for a full season hopefully aren’t just dreams.

Kearns hit a homer and doubled though. I’ll take that. Hopefully that thumb holds up.

If you’re in the Cincy area, is the game on the radio?? Man, it’s a drag sometime being from out of town. Maybe I can talk Brian into getting the Extra Innings package (actually, it would have to be his wife I convince) or something, so I can go over there and watch the games.
